Required Qualifications: NFPA 1001 Standard Firefighter I and II certification (IFSAC/Pro Board), CURRENT NFPA 1041 Fire Instructor I Certification. (Missouri Div. of Fire Safety), CURRENT Missouri Div. of Fire Safety Instructor / evaluator Update. Preferred Qualifications: CURRENT NFPA 1403 Live Fire Instructor (Missouri DIv. of Fire Safety), CURRENT NFPA 1041 Fire Instructor II Certification (Missouri Div. of Fire Safety), NFPA 1021 Fire Officer I Certification (Missouri Div. of Fire Safety) NFPA 1521 Fire Department Safety Officer, Associates Degree in Fire Science. Additionally, teaching / lead educator experience, Fire Instructor certifications to include Hazardous materials, Technical Rescuer, Fire Officer I & II, Fire Inspector, Fire Investigator, Basic Life Support instructor, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Instructor and Pediatric Advanced Life Support Instructor certifications preferred.
